Restrictions on use
- Individual or non-profit use only: the Dundee E-Mail Personal List Services
services are only available to individuals and non-profit organizations and may not be
used for any commercial purposes to include any solicitation or
offering of items and/or services for sale.. Click here for our

- Unsubscribe instructions: Dundee E-Mail Personal List Services lists that are
open for public subscription must carry a footer with instructions on unsubscribing from
the list to reduce the number of messages sent to our staff by people trying to leave the
list. Unsubscribe instructions must also be included in the list's welcome message.
- Maximum list size: the Dundee E-Mail Personal List Services
are intended
for lists up to 1,000 subscribers. For larger Personal or Non-Profit lists, you should
choose one of our commercial list plans.
- Maximum traffic and message size: you may not post more than an average of 100
messages per day per calendar month.
You pay a one-time setup charge when we create your Lyris list. After
that, there is an monthly hosting charge and a monthly volume surcharge.
Setup charge
The initial setup charge is $15.00
Hosting charge
The monthly hosting charge is $16.95
Covers subscribes, unsubscribes, hello messages and other administrative
messages plus archives and search engines, if applicable. Pre-pay 12 months and get the
first 10,000 messages each month subtracted from your volume surcharge.
Volume surcharge
The monthly volume surcharge is $0.65 per 1000 messages
The cost
will be actual messages sent. You only pay for what you use, subject to the minimum
monthly charge. Digests and indexes are billed as one message. You are only charged for
messages that are distributed to your mailing list. These prices are based on an
message size of 10k. If you are planning to send messages larger than 10k these prices do
not apply. Messages larger than 10k are calculated in increments of 1k.
For example, if you sent a message that was 12k in size, you would be
charged for 1.2 messages

The monthly list hosting fee formula is:
list fee = basic hosting fee + (volume surcharge *
size multiplier)
A moderately active list of 170 subscribers sends 6
messages a day in a 31 day month for a total of 31,620 messages
10k in
size. Using the formula above:
$16.95 + (((31,620/1000)*$0.65) * 1) = $37.50
An extremely active list of 70 subscribers sends 100
messages a day in a 31 day month for a total of 217,000 messages
10k in
size. Using the formula above:
$16.95 + (((217,000/1000)*$0.65) * 1) = $158.00
